Welcome to the Colonie Cares Project

Thank you for your support of Liam McWilliam and his troop!

You can help by donating items to put in a care package for 5th Battalion, 5th Air Defense Artillery Corp., a Troop stationed in Iraq, with local ties to the Capital District.

Liam is a member of the "Dragonslayers" unit. His special expertise is that he is one of the few who have the knowledge to maintain the C-RAM. This is the primary defensive weapon for most Navy and Army military bases in the middle east. It is because of this defensive weapon that casualties have been greatly reduced. Liam maintains the CRAM in 12+ hour shifts in over 120 degree heat. It is a true statement to say that if he fails at his job then alot of people die.

It is because of their dedication to our country that we are engaging in this effort to show him and his troop our thanks and appreciation.

Please make your donation by September 30th!

Special Thanks to
Colonie Country Club

We want to take this opportunity to thank The Colonie Country Club for agreeing to be the drop point for donations.  Visit Colonie's website for directions.
